About Event

ITrix is an Inter College Symposium conducted by the Department of Information Science and Technology of College of Engineering Guindy. This year ITrix is scheduled to be held on March 12th to March 14th. ITrix attracts a large number of students from different parts of the state and country. Being only the tenth edition of ITrix since its commencement, it has grown into one of the most popular and well-attended technical symposiums across the country receiving a participation of over 1000 students last year. For this year's event, we have planned for a technical extravaganza. We have a potpourri of events and workshops that will provide a very fruitful and enriching experience to our participants. We have a total of 20 events of which 10 are technical and 10 are non-technical. In addition to this we have 4 workshops that are going to be conducted by very renowned organizations in the IT industry such as SAP,Unity etc. 15+ internships and 5+ placements are offered to the winners of the technical events. Accommodation

Accommodation can be provided for participants from outside Chennai for two days - March 12th (evening) to 14th (evening) - in CEG Hostels inside the campus.Accommodation will be provided only for out-station (outside Chennai) participants.
Registration for accommodation is not part of the Events registration, and is to be done separately.
Hospitality services will be available from 6PM on 12th March to 8PM on 14th March, 2020.
Accommodation will be provided on a sharing basis. Any requests for individual rooms will not be entertained. However, we will try to accommodate students from the same college together in rooms and dorms (if possible).
There are various categories of rooms and dormitories.Services will be offered on "First Register First Serve" basis.
Accommodated students can have their food at their own expense in canteens and food stalls that are available. Food will not be provided by the ITRIX team.
Mattresses and buckets will be provided. However, participants are encouraged to carry their own blankets since it is winter and nights might be cold.
